On the style side of things, the bezel is chock full of crystal stones for an extravagant shimmer. The case and case back are stainless steel to match. And the strap is a rugged attractive rubber.

Is it just me, or is Marc Ecko doing things with watches that nobody else is doing? This watch is a great example of that, as is this one.

This watch features a stainless steel ‘cover’ that hides that watch from view. It shows off the Marc Ecko ‘Iced Rhino’ logo on the outside.

The link bracelet, case and bezel are all matching, polished stainless steel.

The face, which you can’t see too well here, is a simple black with white hour marks.

The protective crystal is scratch-resistant Mineral Glass, though you probably won’t care about that on this watch, since it has the steel cover.

Another uniquely styled watch from Diesel.

The oversized black watch face is decorated with intricate off-white markings, drawimg inspiration from technical charts and graphics.

The bezel is stainless steel, though not the shiny steel you’re used to seeing. This bezel features an edged finish to it and is oversized to emphasize the effect. The watch case measures forty-five millimeters across, which is fairly large.

The band is genuine leather and features a large screw on top and bottom, marking this watch as distinctly Diesel.

The watch is water proof to 300 feet. Because of this, it will make a good choice for swimming, snorkeling and other water activities.

The glass is hardened mineral glass, while the movement is an analog quartz.

About as elegant a sports watch you’re going to find.

First for the sports side of things…

This is a chronograph, with three subdials for interval timings. It also sports a tachymeter on the outer watch face ring and a black carbon composite watch case for extra toughness. And the watch itself is oversized at 34mm.

And finally, it’s got luminous hands, and is water resistant to 100 meters, making it a good choice for swimming, scuba, and other water activities.

But make no mistake, this is a classy looking watch that could even be considered a ‘dress watch’. It has a silver-tone polished stainless steel case with matching silver-tone crown and control buttons and caseback.

Throw in the overall design aesthetic of Tissot, and you’ve got yourself a unique category of watch — the “elegant sports watch.”

A simple, elegant watch that really could be worn with anything. Though it’s only water resistant to ninety feet, so don’t take it deep sea diving!

This is a throwback watch, reminiscent of simpler, subtle design. The watch case comprises of attractive gold-tone stainless steel. It measures 33.75 millimeters in diameter, about average for this type of watch.

The movement is Quartz. For those who are interested, quartz timepieces apply a charge to a resonating gem. This results in the crystal oscillating at a well-known frequency, allowing the watch to keep very precise time. Otherwise an understated and simple watch, the unique crystal wristband on this watch is what makes it stand out.

The DKNY logo replaces the three hour marker, but otherwise this watch does not advertise itself as a designer piece. The polished stainless steel black bezel and black watchface perfectly offset the crystal wristband.

This watch is water resistant to a depth of about 90 feet. Sounds reasonable, but that’s much less than many other sport watches. So it’s probably not a great choice for diving, swimming, etc..

Amazon determines the sales rank of this timepiece as 2322, which means it is among the most popular items available. But that crystal band will appeal to some and not others. And since only one person has reviewed it, it’s safe to say you’re not going to encounter this watch on every street corner.

This is a deep-sea diver watch. And when I say deep-sea, I mean deep sea.. This watch is water resistant to thirty-five thousand feet. Do me a favor and send me a postcard if you get down there, okay?

All kidding aside, TechnoMarine makes serious diver’s watches. On this watch, the diving features include a ratcheting steel bezel with oversized black numerals, luminous oversized hands and a scratch-resistant Mineral Glass crystal.

The movement type is Quartz. For the inquisitive, quartz timepieces direct a charge to a resonating gem. This results in the crystal oscillating at a well-known frequency, allowing the watch to track extremely precise time. This Perry Ellis watch is somewhat of a chameleon. Pair it with a dark suit and it’s going to look like a classy ‘boardroom’ watch. But use it accent ‘office casual’, and it will play the part as well.

The double-wrap genuine leather strap and navy watch face are the actors that pull of that stunt.

Otherwise, the rest of this watch’s features have supporting roles. The hour indicators are simple thin white stripes, matching the undersized hands.

The movement is Japanese quartz, which means it’s accurate and reliable. The watch is water resistant to 165 feet, meaning it will be fine around the pool and beach, but is probably not a great choice for serious water activities.

A mostly unique watch. Compare this watch with the Gucci Charm Bracelet watch recently reviewed on this site. This one is less expensive and quite a bit more playful

This one has an attractive stainless steel case, bracelet band, and bezel. The watch face is an attractive pale pink, matching some of the other charm’s accents.

The movement type is an accurate Analog Quartz.

The watch is water proof to a depth of 100 feet. Though, as a charm bracelet, it’s probably not the best option for waterskiing!

Amazon determines the sales rank of this piece as 11469, which means it is among the more popular items available there, though it is less popular than the Gucci.

Swarovski, Swarovski, and more Swarovski. Not easy to say three times fast, but it sure does make for a pretty watch.

This dress watch features eighteen Swarovski crystals around the bezel and an additional forty-four on the bracelet. That’s sixty-two for those keeping score at home.

Other than those crystals, the elegant band is made of an attractive stainless steel.

The crystal protecting the watch face is, not surprisingly, not Swarovski. Instead, it is a conventional scratch-resistant Mineral Glass. The face itself is a non-descript white, offsetting the roman numeral hour markers.

The movement is analog-quartz. The price is reasonable. The style is pure Anne Klein.
