Let’s not spend too much time talking about what this watch lacks — Chronograph features, a date window, gold of any kind.

What it does have is a stunning look and will be the basis of a real conversation piece. The “Ghost” in the name comes from the fact that the inner workings of this high-quality watch are completely exposed.

The seven sapphire crystals serve as windows into the twenty-five jewel automatic, mechanical movement. The lack of a watch face further enhances the effect.

This is another elegant watch from Movado, but this one departs a bit from the minimalist style of some of the other women’s watches we’ve looked at. See the Movado Amaorosa Steel watch for an example of that kind.

This watch has gold accents in several places — the bezel and case are gold-toned stainless steel, while the hands and number markers are gold-toned as well.

The traditional Movado 12 o’clock dot is present here as well and is gold-toned, but is more undersized on this piece than some other Movados.
