Gruen Wristwatches | Two-Toned Stainless Steel Bargain Watch

Posted on: Feb 20

Gruen wristwatchGruen watches are Gruens in name only. The original, well-known Gruen watch was made by the Gruen Watch Company in Cincinnati, Ohio until the late 1970s. The name was then sold to M.Z. Berger, who now produces watches under the Gruen brand.

If you’re looking for some of the original Gruen watches, you won’t find them newly manufactured anymore. But follow our eBay link below for some of the Gruen classics.

Still here? Okay, then we’ve got a modern day bargain for you. Gruen watches today are inexpensive but represent a good value.

There are really four different watches available if you follow our link. The innards of the watches are the same, but the styles are quite different.

One has a goldtone theme, with gold-toned stainless steel band, bezel, case and numberless watch face.

The second, as pictured at right, sports a brown leather band with gold-toned stainless steel bezel and case.

The third is a two-toned stainless steel band, bezel and case, while the fourth sports a black leather band, a silver-toned bezel and case, and an elegant numberless pearl-toned face.
