Clearly influenced by the Rolex Daytona, this is a hefty Men’s Chronograph, stainless steel watch with white face and three highly-contrasted subdials.
Unlike the Daytona, this one sells for about a hundred bucks as compared to the Daytona’s $10k+ price tag. That’s about all I’ll say about the Daytona — this Invicta is a great looking watch but it doesn’t have the cachet of a Rolex.
What it does have is water-resistance to two hundred meters, an anti-reflective, scratch-resistant Mineral Glass Crystal, an attractive stainless steel case, bezel and band, all the standard Chronograph functions, and a double-locking diver buckle. All that with the quality of Invicta and this watch is surely a great find.
Probably a good idea to note that the large second hand measures time-of-day, and not elapsed seconds. Elapsed seconds are measured on one of the subdials. This is likely not a big deal, but on a watch named “Speedway”, you might expect to be able to compare the large second hand to the numbers on the outer bezel, as on a stopwatch. Or on the Daytona. Oh wait, I said I wouldn’t mention that watch again!
